So I own Nemesis of the Roman Empire on several other gaming sites, and thought I'd check if it was
on GoG.
And to my disappointment, it wasn't.

Then after some Googling I found Celtic Kings on GoG, which looks identical.

Though I did see someone mention that there might be missing addons/expansions here?

So what, if any, are the differences between Celtic Kings and Nemesis of the Roman Empire?

Thanks,
Vincent

Nemesis is essentially celtic kings 2 the biggest differences is the factions, nemesis has 4 factions (gaul, rome, Iberia, carthage) while celtic kings only has 2 (gaul, rome) the factions in both are nearly identical between games with only a few changes. the biggest difference is the campaigns. celtic kings follows the story of a young gaul on his quest for revenge. I don't know if its missing any addons or not myself as I haven't ever seen any addons for the game myself.

Edit: I just loaded the game to check and besides the main adventure It looks like the gog version contains 3 others. I know the main one is fairly long and full of content (by far longer than the ones in nemesis) but I don't know about the other 3. 2 looks like single map scenarios and the other looks like it could be longer but again I am uncertain.

does this have neutral structures that you can capture? I've only played the original and not the sequels... how i do wish this game is released on steam
The Punic Wars: A Clash of Two Empires (UK Name)

Units have been moved around, to some extent, and interms of quality, all the new units pale in comparison to the originals.

I havn't played it for a long time so it's hard to say, i'm sure they nerfed the Viking Lords tho, and gave them to the Britons, so stumped the Gauls eitherway, even if they do use their bonuses this time round. I think i found the original much harder, and better to play, when the Gauls were better off. (I love fighting off level 300! Viking Lords.)
