I'm been playing this beautiful great game for quite sometimes. I somehow notice something in the character's inventory having a extra slot called (Default Skin) or something? That suddenly made me think that alternate costumes exist for characters to equip. I tried looking for it in the game and finish it twice now for two different characters storyline however I couldn't find anything. I tried searching for details regarding about the alternate costumes on the Internet and found something very interesting concerning the alternate costumes in this link:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ekuatorgames/celestian-tales-old-north-redefining-the-classic-r/posts/974593

Umm... My questions now is, would it be possible to make the alternate costumes available in GOG.com as DLC add on to people who wish to have the extra contents but wasn't able to support the kickstarter project for a price as the bonus content seems to be backer's exclusive?

I backed the KS but only at the basic get the game/s level. IIRC the alternate sprites which are coming soon are intended to be a KS backer exclusive. Note that backers had to pledge at least $35 to get this reward so it wouldn't seem very fair if the developer turned around and sold these for a couple bucks as a DLC... To make it fair they'd have to charge like $15 which I think most would find insanely overpriced.

That said, I believe the developers have said that they haven't ruled out doing another alternate sprites DLC down the in if they get a lot of requests for that sort of thing. However, they're currently busy working on a DLC expansion called "Howls of the Ravager" which will contain some additional gameplay content. It's going to be free for KS backers, but I'm not sure if they'll charge for it for people who bought the game.

Umm... So it seems that the alternate costumes are for backer's exclusive only for those who pledge in the kickstarter campaign. That's understandable as it will appear unfair for the people who backed the game in selling these alternate costumes for a price as additional DLC rather than a extra content meant only for backers. Although personally I wouldn't really consider it as being unfair or unreasonable if by any chances the developers will make the alternate costumes available for non backers as there are some developers such Obsidian Entertainment who created Pillars Of Eternity for instance has made the collector's edition of the game which is the Royal Edition available to non backers which includes digital goodies which are supposedly meant only for backers who help pledge the game in its kickstarter campaign. I understand that you may somehow disagree with what I just said but I'm just saying :)

And it's really great to know that they're currently working on a expansion DLC for this very cool game as I've been craving for more gameplay content as it was lacking and pretty short in the original game. Hope they'll add more stuffs in their next series of games as I heard the game will be somehow like a trilogy correct?

Thank you so much for taking the time in answering my questions, much appreciated! I thought my questions will always remained unanswered and forgotten in the corners of the forums collecting digital dust XD

Yes the game is planned to be three parts. The 2nd part will take place roughly ten years after the first part, and the 3rd roughly ten years after the second. So you'll see the main characters get a bit older by the end of the game and change based on choices you've made.

The upcoming Howl of the Ravager DLC is a prequel to part one... You will play as Severin when he is a young man. I hope this DLC will shed some light on what happens at the end of part one. I think they plan to release it early next year.

Whoa! That's great then! I really want to see more of these games and hope they'll add more content on the actual game like they promised on their kickstarter page such as environmental puzzles and choices that matters with consequences of its own among other things.

I also hope the combat aspect and each respective character's arc would have some degree of variation as I easily got bored with it and more like playing and seeing the same thing all over my other playthroughs. Each and every character's arc must and should feel differently unique and it should offer new experiences or a unusual scenario not seen in the other character's arcs to increase replay value.

Overall, I wish to see that they'll be able to add new features on the game and improve then keep on the stuffs which they already got right. This game is quite short and feels kind of rush, although I understand since it is Ekuator's first game.

And lastly, hope they'll add voice acting and more importantly include "Mouse Support" in their next future titles as I hate PC games which doesn't have one?! If Agarest and Trails in the sky has Mouse support, why not this game which follows the same vein of JRPG games lol?
