I would like to know how too! Normally it's pretty straight forward, but when I try to claim it, it just says "Notify when released." Did I miss the giveaway?

Same issue here.
I even clicked the notify me button. Then I got an email sometime later saying "the item on your wishlist is now available".
Still not able to download.

I should add myself to this issue as well, got to see the first message about the game as a gift, went hyped to check it out to find it wasn't ready yet, and clicked both wishlist and notify me as well, a couple hours later got a mail notifying me it was ready for purchase (even though it should be for free like the typical giveaways from which i got to acquire many atm) but still no change, it just keeps saying it's coming soon and asking me to ask for notifications when it comes out, hope it gets fixed soon as i liked Cave Story a lot and i'd love to get this new game for free as i'm kinda short of funds to buy stuff sincerely, but well hope good luck comes for everyone eventually. xD
