Berzerk2002: What do you mean?
I think he's saying that because the game has been updated more times than I can count, in a very short amount of time.

I didn't even know GOG allowed such a thing, I always thought they'd take nearly a week just to verify if an update was working. And yet here we are, getting several updates in a few hours from each other.
these files where the ones I whitelisted :

C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\GalaxyClient.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\GalaxyClientService.exe
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\redists\GalaxyCommunication.exe

Oh you know what, just have the whole message, that makes more sense. And remember - if it doesn't work , just contact customer service yourself - your problem might be something very different.

Hello,

Your logs indicate that something on your PC is blocking GOG GALAXY's connection - most probably your security software. Please add the following files to both your antivirus and firewall trusted/exception list:

C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\GalaxyClient.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\GalaxyClientService.exe
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\redists\GalaxyCommunication.exe

Make sure to restart GOG GALAXY after following the above.

Please also let me know if you are able to access the following page using your browser:
https://auth.gog.com/token
you should see either 2 lines is json or an empty page. If you can access that link, the issue must be with the app's blocked connection - whitelisting the files I mentioned should help.

Best regards,

Jesagon:
Thank you for your help and all suggestions everyone.

in my case, the firewall settings have not changed anything,...

so I became to think what should I turn off and on again?

certainly, something to do with achievements! :D

so I did step 1
Turn off all squares in: Manage Installation->Configure
and off all squares in: Galaxy-> Settings ->Game Features
(as on pictures)

step 2
Start a game through Galaxy and it will start,
and close the game again.

step 3
Turn back on all possible squares from pictures.
Start a game.

It brought me a connection with achievements : )

Best to You All!
