BoneofMalkav: For running the game at Hi Resolutions I recommend installing the nGlide wrapper that comes with the installation (in the same dir as carma2.exe) (But I recommend looking for the nGlide site for any updated versions.) You can customize the controls in the options menu.
BDX777: I know you can customize the controls in Options, but it won't allow me to set the driving controls to the WASD keys.
In the Carmageddon games, some of the controls are hard-coded. S turns sound on and off, for example. This is why the game won't allow you to change to a WASD setup.
However, there are ways you can do it through use of key remapping programs (so that the WASD keys are actually sending the cursor keys signals). You might be able to change the hard-coded keys using a config file, too, but it has been a long time and I can't remember if it is possible. I'm sure there's a thread on here that explains how to do it though.
