Ever wondered why you couldn't get those slots at the top of those towers on the roofs in that race? Well, apparently the air vents were supposed to lift you up to them, although in some cases, there are other (and much more painful) ways to get them. There's also an electro-magnet in the junkyard that should "collect" you if you go close, but I never tested that. Anyways, I found this easy fix in some heavily modded pirate version of the game, but after some small research, the fix for basically any version of the game has surfaced, and it's so easy that even a rheumatic monkey with bowling pins as hands would be able to do it. Here you go:

- First locate the game's "data" directory, default should be this if you bought from GOG: "C:\GOG Games\Carmageddon 2 Carpocalypse Now\data\"
- Next, open the OPTIONS.TXT file, and look for this line: "RussellsFannies 0", and change the 0 at the end to 1, so it'll look like this without the quote marks: "RussellsFannies 1"
- Save the file and start the game
- Frolic

Anyways, it's such an easy fix, and those things were definitely supposed to work as default. The second race in the junkyard (Shove Thy Neighbour I think) even requires every racer to go through an air vent area in the beginning, and if you don't apply the fix, all your opponents will gleefully crash into the ground like a pack of idiots. Which is hilarious, but my point stands still.

Is it possible to change that one line in the GOG release so that people don't have to fix it on their own? I mean, not a horribly difficult fix, but some people won't even notice that those things were supposed to be there. Like I did for some long years about a decade ago...

Which ones you have on mind? The city part? It's quite possible with afterburner and kangaroo on command. But that doesn't matter where you get slots as blue ones can be collected by completion of certain track multiple times until you hit the max for current group. Another problem is, some of the blue ones will show added message but in fact they will reduce you slots instead of generating cash and this is when you keep farming slots in current group. O_o Magnets are turned off by default and this is not a problem, don't sugest by drivers behaviour as they supposed to prioritize carnage first instead of checkpoints. Race on roofs and slots on them is possible normal way, also certain part of map allow you to access special place where you can get on top of buildings near border of the map thus going to every place in any height.

The only mistake/bug and not default part is how Die Anna driver and her car is treated as never stay unlocked if you change to something else (Never instead of All).
