Am I able to set the resolution on this? It was possible to do with the old CD version of the game using a Glide Wrapper. Can't cope running at low res! My screen runs 2560x1440 res.

Also, has the networking support been improved over the original game? I never could get it to work on a vaguely modern PC. Standard TCP/IP networking would be nice!
No idea on your first question, but I would doubt very much that the networking support has been improved - GOG just release old games so they can run on modern systems, they don't change the games in any way. So if the original had shitty TCP/IP support, then GOG's version will too.
GOG's C2 also uses a glide wrapper (nGlide) and thus you can easily set your resolution and proportions.
LAN games work very well but netgames over the internet go out of sync very quickly and it is very frustrating. Nothing to do there as its the C2 netcode which is very so-so.
I'm curious before bying this stuff too.

Is it a censored version with zombies?

No zombies. Humans and red blood.

Would emulating a LAN network over Tunggle or Hamachi help?
Riptor: not really, while it helps to easily connect to someone else, these virtual networks add their share of latency. From our tests, if you play 1vs1 and the host has a very high speed connection, you'll be able to play a few rounds. Even with tools specificaly made to play C2 online with a dedicated master server (CarmaUDP, IPX2IP), there was nothing to do. It is really annoying as LAN games work perfectly.
Heyyo,

Yeah the game works perfect in 1920x1080 for me. No stretched HUD or 3d models... I'm impressed with the nGlide integration they did on this title. :)
Yeah, this game runs sooooo smooth. I wish the original would be this smooth with glide.

Edit: Just tried the Win95 patch on the original and its ***********, yeah baby!
