Im getting terrible sound from Cap Plus. The voice is very noisy and stuttery and crackly. Any way to fix this? Was it always this bad? If it's the soundfiles there's something wrong with, i can fix it in a DAW, but i can't find no soundfiles.

Any ideas?

This is due to dosbox being set to max cpu cycles. I've found this causes sound issues with many games, especially horrible sound stutter in videos or dialog. Edit dosboxCapPlus.conf in the game folder. Find the cycles=max and set to a static number, such as 25000. If you find the game is too slow, edit the file again and bump it up until you find a setting that works well on your machine. This should eliminate any sound issues.
