I don't know whether anyone has already posted this here but there's a few remarkable cover versions of the music from the original Cannon Fodder done by Jon Hare, the guy who composed and provided the vocals for the original main theme (and as far as I can tell was the lead on the original game).

Yet another amazing cover, this time of the music from the recruitment screen:
Narcissus
I should mention that this version of Narcissus was arranged for an interesting album called Immortal 4. The album also featured another rendition of the main theme as a more traditional reggae song, I couldn't find a YT link to it though.
