Anyone else having problems with the Dueling system in Bound in Blood?

I'm on I think the final duel but I can't get pass it. Every time I move the characters hand towards the holster but can't draw.
Every time I click to draw the hand just twitches and if it does finally draw then the targeting system doesn't seem to come up. I've experienced similar problems with most of the game but I eventually can complete a duel but it takes up to 10 or so tries to finally work. The final duel in the compound I've been stuck on for a week, I can't get the duel to even work correctly either Thomas won't draw or the targeting system fails. I've tried everything from adjusting mouse sensitivity and controls nothing has worked.

Anyone else had this problem?
