It runs well and way better than the Steam version.
Some of the bugs are gone, mainly the one that used to crash the game during the start when looking in the mirror.
Sadly though you still can't beat the game as you don't have enough time to outrun the death timer on the escape part of the air filled tunnels.

I outran the Death timer on the escape part of the air filled tunnels ON THE STEAM VERSION but I hated that reef bit! you have to Madly KILL EVERYTHING!

Yes you can. I just completed the game couple days ago.

Funny because I tried 20 times to beat it and tried all the silly things that can help like staring at the ground, running straight only and other things and I always died at the same point.
It is a bug man and for some reason it happens to certain people.
Only reason I got past it was double time and max movement with the extra patch.

I didn't even know there is possible bug. I completed the game first time back in 2006 and this was the second time, now that game works in present PC/OS. I died 5 time tho, always in same spot (after second gate) sixth time I passed and completed game so I don't know was it pure luck. I made videos series from full playthrough (in finnish). Final episode is scheduled to come out in January.
