i have read His works that he has Done and i love Shadow over innsmouth and call of cthulhu one of the best stories i ever read
I've read them all. Started when I was in 7th grade or so. I still re-read them 60 years later. His writing is clunky and he overuses some words, e. g. "rugose," but the stories have an imaginative quality that's unique. In 8th grade I had trouble sleeping for a couple of weeks after reading "At the Mountains of Madness." Wild card favorite is "The Cats of Ulthar." I always wanted to have an old timey string band called the Miskatonic Ramblers.
Came across this thread when trying to find a solution to a bug.

I've read several, to name a few:
Dagon
Call of Cthulhu
Haunter in the Dark
Curse of Yig
The Dunwich Horror
The Festival
The Mound
Azathoth
The Hound
Dreams in the Witch House
The Shadow over Innsmouth
Color out of Space
The Nameless City
Out of the Aeons
Nyarlathotep

There might have been more, but those are the ones that come to mind. My favorites among them were Haunter, Curse of Yig, Dreams in the Witch House, Color out of Space, and Dunwich Horror. Some I found disappointing include Dagon, Shadow over Inssmouth, and Azathoth. I liked aspects of Call of Cthulhu, but felt it fell short of the hype.

user deleted: I'm sure almost everyone who has played the game knows the game is based on HP Lovecraft's work, but I was wondering how many are actually Lovecraft fans who have read his stories?
I have read all of his actual stories, and most of the stuff he wrote with others.

He is among my favorite authors, probably top 3.
