Hey guys,

Sorry if this question is asked often, but I purchased Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth a while ago on my ASUS RoG G752VS (Windows 10). No matter what I try, any time I attempt to launch the game, it opens a small yellow window and immediately closes.

Does anyone know of a fix for this? It's way too late for me to get a refund for the game, and I really want to play it.

Game runs fine here on Windows10x64 in my desktop. Would suggest that maybe you download and install the latest DX runtime from Microsoft--it co-exists fine with Win10x64 and overwrites nothing. No gamer should run without it! Some games look for D3d files that have been deprecated in later versions of Windows. This may not fix it, but it's a start.

BTW, what is an ASUS G752VS?...;) What sort of GPU, etc.?

Ive just found the game could not be launched on my laptop but, by connecting an external screen, a basic TV, there was not any problem anymore. Maybe it has something to do with the refreshing rate.
