What the hell? I don't know why it is doing this. I am hoping that someone else is having this problem because it is really bugging me. I want to play, but it won't let me.
No crashing whatsoever here so we would require more info than that. OS and pc specs for starters.
Same here on my Surface Pro 4 with Intel chip. No problem on my Asus Laptop with NVidia card. Caladrius Blaze seems not to like on-board graphic chips for the moment.

Yes thats why i asked for his/her specs. A quick steam forum search confirmed that the game indeed has trouble starting on IGPs. Solution is to switch to the dedicated gpu if available.
In all seriousness tho, those intel chips are not meant for gaming. No matter how light said game may be.

I'm running Windows 10, intel i7 6th gen, 12Gb DDR4 RAM and an NVIDIA GTX960M. It's a laptop. I also took a look at the support page for the game and it looks like it wants me to download 3rd party software. Yeah....No. I think that is pretty nerving in order to play a game.

What third-party software is it asking you to download?
I checked the GOG support to see if I needed a specific .dll file that was missing from the download and when I took a look (General Problems Windows Version -> Crash when an FMV intro or cutscene suhould be played), it says under additional info to "Uninstall your codec pack, reinstall the game, install a different codec pack" as the first piece of info. It has under it a link to something called the Combined Community Codec Pack.

As much as I want to play this game, I don't think having to download something additional from another source as the game support is suggesting is that good of an idea.
According to the Steam community, a patch should be incoming :-)

I got installed the CCCC and it's harmless. A great help to play lots of video files you find online :p comes also with the Media Player Classic SW.
I had that before purchasing Caladrius so never saw this error msg..
This issue has been fixed on the Steam release. When can we expect to see the fix here?
Same issue here, got a refund on the Steam version due to always online DRM.
But the GOG version doesn't have the patch that fixes the intel graphics crash bug...:(

I assume we will be getting it?
