I would like to know whether the "Chapter 2 Bug" that the Steam Version has is also an issue in the GoG version of the game.

I found the following in the Steam forum:

"BUG IN CHAPTER 2: The screen wont (play) the cut scene when I want to enter the arena after saving the female giant. What should i do? I already restart steam and (am) still stuck (with the) same problem."

I did not encounter this problem when playing through my GOG version of the game, but I cannot give guarantees for others.

gosh the female troll/giantess just disappears and I can't go on.
Appaarently you haave to replaay until it magically works. Done twice already and nope it doesn't. I was enjoying myself with the game and it's a real bummer.

Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the only game-breaking bug. I cannot grab the key from the monster behind the gate in chapter 2. According to a thread in a Gamefaqs forum, this seems to be a common bug, restarting the chapter may help. Will try it if I'm in the right mood. Right now I'm just a bit upset. The game is great, touching, the controls work nicely, and then that... :-(
Hopefully those bugs will be fixed sometime.

I just finished the game today, I found no bug on my way through the game.

Yes, ran into this bug just now. At least if this is the bug we're talking about when the female giant opens a gate for you after you've transported her to the platform the gate is on.

Restarting the chapter didn't seem to help. I'll try to restart the game and retry this section later this evening.

Restarting the game and continuing from the last checkpoint doesn't help. Restarting the complete second chapter does.

Not sure what caused the bug. Perhaps dying because of stepping on bones or letting the giant wield his club triggers it (which is what I did the first time I tried this section).
