Sorry, i didn't find a topic about that but i've some big issue in the second part of Broken Sword.

So, I knock out the guard, start to leave the church or whatever (can't recall the name of this place). But when the characters run to another screen, the game crashed and come back on windows.

Does this thing happened to anyone ?

EDIT: Oh i resize the pictures too small.

It's says " More than 1 <begin scene> found engine doesnt know which to choose"

Having the exact the same problem... If anyone has a solution
come on, come on.... SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!
Got past the bug by reloading a save from inside the cave. After the shooting cutscene I tried to exit the door 3 times and talked to Nico before exiting through the balciny and doing the radio stuff.
do you still have a copy of this save ? i've only one after the knock out so i'm stuck ^^'
Didnt found any bugs yet but the part where you are stuck in a binoccular view is very annoying until you realize you have actually to search for something else.

That's remind me the quite same part in Sam&Max Hit The Road.

Anyway, i used the save of this forum to avoid redoing part 1 and also did exactly what said wilco and i passed the bug.
I have a heavy bug in Santa Cova.
When Nico played the Music I ingnited the light in the Cup.....
After that the first time happened, the game crashed with an error message I can't remember.
After that I started the game from an earlier Savegame. After that the game didn't Crash, but the Cursor went transparent and nothing happens. It seams a cutscene or something should happen. But nothing occurs.
Then I played the whole game from the beginning and had the same Problem.
So I am stuck inside Santa Cova and can't continue.

Is there a fix for that?
Or does anyone has a savegame after George lighted the fire in the Cup of the Santa Cova?

Does everybody else has this issue?
Yup. Mine game crashes in Santa Cova too. After lighting the candle in the recess and I try to click the ourobouros onto the altar I get the error message "in SCRIPT [plastered_wall_carry_george_medallion_part_2] #mega_face_object_hotspot. can't find object [walk_to_black_madonna]

I have to say considering Revolution took so long to release Ep2 in order to iron out glitches it's not very satisfactory.

Having no end of probs trying to download (chunksum errors galore!) and ended up having to use a different pc in order to get it to download

Ok I slightly take this back. Realised I should have used the hammer on the altar first but...hey...this is an adventure game. You try everything with everything so the game should not crash when you try something should it?!?

If you haven't decoded the tabula veritatis perhaps read no further...
------------

Has anybody else had the issue decoding the tabula veritatis?

Took me quite a while to get everything to where I was really sure of it. But the second symbol along on the second row which looks like glyphs meaning begin-city-region-looking and is apparently (I know only by checking walkthroughs) translated as South.

I've tried EVERY word and George always says "it was a location - but I needed to know where it was".

And since the game apparently waits for me to solve that before Nico does something to push the story along (talk about artificial) I am basically stuck.

I had a save game from before I first used the Tabula and the Gehnen's Clay Tablet Photo together but the problem repeated. So something is wrong, who knows how long ago.

Any ideas? Is this a bug or am I missing something entirely?

Turns out I was missing something entirely. I won't say what, most of you probably know..

Well, I think is a big bug in the game. The same thing with French language, and for the same word "South" in the second row. Impossible to continue (I think the only way is load an old savegame and to add the words again, perhaps "south" in first (?)).
BS5, is a very good game. And I'm fan of the first, and 2th too, I like the 3th, I don't like the 4th, the 5th is really good as like the first and the 2th of BS. Very sad about this bug near the end.

Please a patch about that. Thank you.

A French, not really familiar with English language.
Best regards.
Nico.
EDIT: Nevermind, found a save on the Steam forums for the game.

----

I'm good and lost in episode 2. In Santa Cove, when you have to set up a "spiritual experience", I made a savegame that somehow wrote George out of existence. After the save, the character's gone. Unfortunately, the game also autosaved in this state.

Now the animated sprites of the character don't show with the exception of interacting with the crank. The non-existent/invisible character reaches objects to interact with instantly, but can't scroll to the right side of the room. Since I can't reach the scaffolding, I can't advance the game and hope the character reappears in the next room.

I don't see any solution other than to replay a large chunk of the game (I think you can replay Episode 2 from the menu, but that's couple hours I'd rather not lose) or continue someone else's save. Does anyone have a savegame from about that point in the game?
