All the walkthroughs show George walking past the goat and moving the plow but the goat always hits me before I can even get close to the plow. Help[?

Finally figured it out. Here's the solution in case anybody else gets stuck.
Head toward the ladder then when the goat butts you quickly click on the plow and you should run to it.

This is game breaking. I was told this game was a classic. Classics are more careful than this... I rated this game with 3 stars thinking I would be able to update my review later (for better or worse). Then I realized GOG doesn't allow that. If I could I would take another star away because of this game "mechanic"...
