I got Broken Sword 4, and it won't work. All the other ones work, but unlike them, Broken Sword 4 says when I try to run it, that it requires virtual memory, which I have disabled! However, it doesn't say anywhere on the game page that it requires virtual memory, and I don't even see why it would, since I have enough regular RAM to run it without virtual memory anyway! Does anyone know why this is or how to disable this restriction? And don't tell me to enable my virtual memory; it's disabled intentionally.

I don't suppose you found a solution to this? Having virtual memory enabled as a requirement to play is ridiculous.
Thank you! My point exactly! No I wish I had a solution, but I don't. Does anyone else?

P.S.: it's not as though I don't have enough physical memory!

I find this annoying as well. I've been running without a swapfile for over a decade now, since I felt I had enough RAM for what I want to do, and this is the ONLY program I've stumbled across that complains about it.

Unfortunately, it seems like the swapfile check is hardcoded into a game for some stupid reason, and I don't think a patch to remove it is likely :(
