Hi,
I'm up to the point where you've drunk a guards tea and he potters off to make a new one leaving his guard dog behind. At the end of this cut scene the game doesn't return normal control to me. The game doesn't hang, I can load games etc, it's just the cut scene fails to end. It stays on idle animations at the last shot of the scene. Can anyone help? I've tried going back a save or two but to no avail and going back further would be a pita.

Unfortunately the game gets stuck sometimes. The easiest way to solve this is loading a save game right after the scene, maybe someone can provide one. Or you install the game on a different PC, load the save there and try to get past the scene or you upload it somewhere and I'll try to get past on my system and send it back to you.

You could also go further back to an older save and hope the glitch doesn't appear again.

Just to clarify, the cutscene is stuck and you can't interact, because sometimes the player gets stuck after cutscenes and some people where able to solve this by holding down Ctrl key and keep on pressing an arrow key. With a bit of patience you might get George free this way, just keep pressing.
