It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I've downloaded twice. Each time it says files are corrupted. I'm using Vista and ran as administrator but still no luck. Anyone have any suggestions?

- Try downloading again but in a different web browser
- Try downloading on a different computer
- Try using the GOG downloader app if you didn't before
Also make sure your firewall or antivirus are not interfering with the download.
I downloaded again using the browser instead and it still said corrupted. I disabled my antivirus and tried to execute but it still didn't work. Any other ideas? By the way, thanks so much for the replies. The company hasn't answered my e-mails yet. I do appreciate your support!
It really sucks when you get corrupted files!
I have no idea about Vista, but may I recommend you to get an Ubuntu live cd and try to download using it.
By the way, I'm not satisfied with the GOG-support too.
dottie236, could you please right-click on the downloaded file in Windows Explorer, click "properties", and let us know what the "size" of the file is in the window that pops up?
It's possible that they have changed the installer, but my version says 611 MB (641,609,367 bytes).
If your file is much smaller than this, then the download has been aborted. You could try installing a download program like or [url=http://getright.com/]Getright. It should take over the download from Internet Explorer (or whatever you are using) and it might help.
If your file is the same size, then there is some sort of corruption happening in the download. Perhaps you could enquire with GOG support again, and point them at this thread so they know what you've tried. You might even want to ask your internet provider about the problem.
Just a thought - did you download ALL the files needed?
The size of my file is 611mb. I checked and it seems this is the only file. I tried to skip the initial check that popped up, and that didn't work either. Thanks for the response.
I checked and there was only one file. 611mb. Thanks though.
I'm not sure how to check but I am concerned with downloading without the antivirus on.

Have you tried a different browser ? Sometimes that solves it.
About disabling the antivirus and/or firewall, just don't surf the web or check emails while you have it/them off and you should be fine. Don't forget to enable it/them back on once you finish downloading your file from gog.
I tried the other browser that was included. It didn't work either. I didn't realize that about the antivrus. Maybe I'll give it a try. Thanks to all trying to help me.
Well, I tried disabling my anti virus protection and downloading again and the files were still corrupted. Maybe I'm out of luck.
I think that by 'try a different browser' you understood i meant the gog downloader which i'm guessing is what you referred to as 'the other browser that was included'.
What i meant was, try downloading the file with an internet browser different than the one you're usingto surf the web. For instance if you're using Internet Explorer 8 try downloading the file with FireFox or if you're using Google Chrome try downloading the file with Internet Explorer 8.
If you still can't download the file, and if support still didn't get back to you, send them another support ticket.
I've tried everything. I can't get either game I purchased to run. Now I can't even get my e-mails answered by the support people. I'm very disappointed but guess I need to give up. Thanks for all you suggestions.

Have you ever had troubles downloading any other large files from other sites?

No except it takes a long time. I've only done it once or twice before. Why?
