I changed the DirectX setting to window, but it still opens in full screen. Anyone know a fix?

Yeah it seems windowed mode doesn't actually work (I'm on a 1440p monitor).

So no way to go window mode; how does one get the game to launch on a secondary screen? I've got an ultra wide set as my primary but would rather play on my standard 27" gaming screen (secondary screen) - is there a way to launch it there? Really wish windowed mode worked....

You need to change dxcfg resolution as well otherwise you'll get borderless windowed.

Easy enough to change the resolution and can do windowed mode, but appears to be no way to move the window or force launch it on another screen besides the primary at all.
Even with a smaller resolution and window that launches in the middle of the screen there isnt a way to move it/drag it or otherwise?

Anyone have any luck moving the damn thing?

Hey,

found a solution. Im using a 42inch monitor and yeah.
Simple fix:
1. Download https://github.com/dege-diosg/dgVoodoo2
2. Copy gVoodooCpl.exe in the root of the game
3. Copy dgVoodoo\MS\x86 (bzw. x64): D3D8.dll, D3D9.dll, DDraw.dll
4. Start the gVoodooCpl.exe and change the setting to windowed and click apply
5. Change the dx9 game settings display mode to "set by application"

Edit: window dragging via Shift + Right click on the game icon -> move -> and use the arrow keys to move the window

Hope it helps :)
