No matter what resolution the game is set to, it has some kind of hardcoded scanlines or something. I thought it was because I was playing on my CRT monitor at 480p, but I noticed very thick scanlines. So I tested it on other monitors and the game always has these scanlines. Does anyone know how to remove them?

EDIT: I imagine the scanlines appeared after I removed the HORRIBLE forced bilinear filter from the game, which would make sense since the original PS1 game runs at 240p.

are you sure you're not using some kind of CRT filter when you're using voodoo to remove the bilinear filter. the game doesn't have any scanlines or crt filter built into the engine
