lockhartdcs: I hope to see Dragon Quarter here on GOG...I know this will probably never happen, but DQ it's a game that is truly inaccessible through legal means. Breath Of Fire I and II were rel-released for the 3DS via Virtual Console. Breath Of Fire III was ported to the PSP. But Dragon Quarter remained restricted to the PS2.
It's really Capcom's call. The easiest, lowest-hanging fruit way to do this would be to release the PSP version of Breath of Fire III, the PS1 version of Breath of Fire IV, and Dragon Quarter for PS2 through Sony's PlayStation Classics program on PS4/PS5.

nintendo1889: Thank goodness the Ryusui translation exists lol

Odjn Ryu: While I appreciate Ryusui's work I'd still rather play the original translation ;)

People are too hyperbolic about the original. Still fun to play; I pumped 60+ hours into it when it came to Nintendo Switch Online.
The original doesn't have dashing, and the game is a slog without it.
Dragon Quarter is the one I want to see the most myself. Finding ways to play BoF 1 and 2 is not hard. Dragon Quarter, though, I played on the PS2 and didn't get it at the time. I want to give it another try, and it is the least accessible of them all now that 4 has come to GOG. Seeing the whole series on GOG would be great.
Cmon Breath of Fire III already has a PC port! It'd take some work, but it can def be done
