When ever I try to run the game it loads for a couple of seconds and the crashes. I have tried messing with the game settings and I was able to get it to load to a black screen that I could do nothing with, not even closing it. is there any known issues that I am missing that I need to adjust to get it so I car run the game? I have tried compatibility mode with Win xp and win 7 with no luck. I have adjusted the resolutions several times. I have adjusted aspect ratio and scaling still no luck. Any help would be nice. thank you in advance.

Comp specs:
Windows 11 Home 64-bit
MB: B360M
CPU: Intel Core i5-9400F CPU @ 2.90GHz
GPU: GeForce RTX 4060
Ram: 32gb
HD: 1TB ssd (for operating system), 4TB hdd (for games)

i got mines to work by using windows xp SP3 compatibility and disabling Fullscreen optimizations

Unfortunately for me it didn't work for me.

edit: i fixed this issue instantly by unplugging a mayflash usb snes controller adapter, check your USB devices

I have a similar problem. Game launch, I see the Capcom splash screen, then it crashes. It even gave me a bsod the first time I started it. I tried win XP sp3, disabling full screen optimization.. game just crash after the Capcom intro screen.

edit: ok, it seems like I was able to fix it, not 100% sure what did it, but last thing I changed was the "presentation" setting in the dxcfg.exe that you can found in the game folder. Somehow, it was set to "windowed" and I simply changed it to "Set by application (Default)".

Yeah that did it for me. I had to unplug my razor Tartarus and an Xbox controller.

**edit**
I found that if you have more than 1 controller hooked up it will cause it to crash. I could use the other controllers as long as they were the only ones hooked up.

I shouldn't have to unplug peripherals to make a game work. This is not a real solution.

Hey. This helped me. I remember it was working before I plug my arcade controller (leverless.)As soon as I unplug it, the game start working.
Idk why but its worked thx
