My 8bitdo ultimate 2c controller is not working, anyone having trouble with this device too? i think it uses xinput and on windows is marked as a xbox 360 controlelr in device manager

I have the 8Bitdo SN30 Pro and Pro 2, both work.
In the newer Models should be a Switch in the Back, check if it is set to Xinput.

Do you have also other Devices connected the PC could recognize as a Controller?
If it thinks your Controller is "Player 2", it will not recognize Input.
I am having the same issue with my 8bitdo ultimate 2c. Did you find the problem?
For me - my controller, Gamesir Cyclone 2, only works while wired. This is the only game I'm aware of that does this. I even tried adding it to steam to use Steam Input but did not work for me.

Try connecting your controller via USB cable and use it wired if it's not working wirelessly for you.

Same with Ultimate 2.4 GHz controller. Only way it works is if I undock - turn off - start Joy2Key - start the game - then use it.

Strangely - it worked before and suddenly stopped for some reason. No idea why.

So I tested again and confirmed, but there's a little more to it from what I see.

If you start the game through GOG Galaxy, click on anything else - multi-monitor or not - then the game doesn't respond to the keyboard. Using the Ultimate 2.4 GHz controller, the only "confirm" key is the "enter/start" key. This was not the case previously - not sure what's going on there. Since there's no other "confirm" key, I had to start using the "Joy2Key" app to map the keyboard keys to the controller.

Regardless of using Joy2Key, if anything else is clicked before the game is launched, no keys work when the game is started.

To mitigate all of that, I start Joy2Key first, then run the game - ensuring nothing else is clicked until the game is launched. After loading I can ALT+TAB away and do other stuff.
