So I played the main game (Ion Fury) but haven't started Bombshell yet. I was pondering if it's any point in playing the preview of Ion Fury/Maiden. Is it just a demo or is it a stand-alone mini campaign?

The preview campaign is contained within the full release of Ion Fury as an extra. It was released before the game's full launch and is basically a merger of numerous levels from the final release - it's fun to play but you won't really learn nothing new if you've already played the whole thing.

New Game -> Bonus Missions -> Crisis in Columbia
