So I'm on the fence about buying the game on GOG or Steam. I don't really care much for achievements (I love me some Playstation trophies, though), but are there *again* no achievements for the GOG version? I'm considering no longer buying this game at launch until it's very cheap because IMO, the games are less valuable for me if it has no achievements whilst other versions do have them. That's one of the reasons I don't care about Nintendo Switch. It's a meta game for me and I would love to play the game on GOG, my fav plataform with achievements.

People use GOG first for no DRM, they can live without them.

I don't mind older games not having them, but I expected to see new games to follow along with their Steam release.
I'm not sure if the forums here is the place to ask for them.

I don't think it is important if it has achievements or not.

I keep telling myself that it's not important if there's no achievements, I really do. But somewhere inside, the OCD in me is screaming.
It also has me worried about how the future patches will fare on GOG. It would really suck to have the promised extras not available here (or to wait a month to get what Steam gets).
I live at work (roughly 21/7 hitch), and company wi-fi rejects most data heavy connections, including Steam (and Netflix/Hulu/etc). They let GOG through though, go figure. So, if I buy on GOG, I can play at work with absolutely no issues. If I buy on Steam, that means I get to enjoy their lovely offline mode (when it works), but I'll know that I'm getting everything that's coming even if I can only play on time off.

No achievements wouldn't bother me that much. I ended up hiding the trophied notifications on my PS4.

Right now I'm more concerned on if the game will be good. I really enjoy all thr Symphony of the Night-ish Castlevanias, hope they managed to create something at least on par with the DS Castlevanias.

Good to see they were added on launch day.
Can't wait to see how the game looks more since the KS betas.
