Yeah, that seems a new one. It sounds like you are trying to play Blood II. Can you share the OS and hardware you running it on? Have you tried compatibility mode and the dgVoodoo wrappers?

Tried all compatibility modes, no dice.
Running game using dgVoodoo 5.3, resolution and widescreen patches otherwise game wont work.

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate SP1
CPU: Intel Core I5 - 2400 3.10 GHz
8 GB of RAM
GPU: MSI 660 GTX
1 TB HDD

Level where this happens: C1L3: Lafayette Museum of Antiquities

Wouldn't otherwise post this but what if same things gonna happen with weapons or keys (if there is any since i am still early in game) in later levels?
That seems a fairly normal setup.
Just curious, have you tried running Blood II in software render mode? I'm just trying to determine if there is some odd compatibility error with newer nVidea drivers.

Also, you could try just uninstalling and reinstalling Blood II. Occasionally there are copy errors with the install that might be causing it to throw the error.
Uninstalled everything, reinstalled game and running game on stock renders, managed to pick up proximity bombs without crash. Must be some compatibility error. Guess no 1080p for me as it comes to this game.

If have this exact problem (bought the game a few days ago and use the widescreen patches etc.)
Have you tried launching the game, going into "customize..." and changing the widescreen.rez files around?
I'm assuming you have Blood 2 The Chosen Nightmares? I changed from loading "WidescreenPatch.REZ" to "WidescreenPatchNm.REZ" (tick always load these REZ files) but only have the ONE file at a time.
I can now pick up those prox bombs with no crashing.
Hope it helps!
