With the newest patch (1.8.8-4), the window leading from the parlor into the furnace room in E1M1 does not respond to being hit with the pitchfork, but it does react to the flare gun. I didn't test anything else.

Its a issue with the new update. Its been reported on Steam (where the developers are actually active.) So just have to wait till they fix it.
