Hello all. As some of you may know the older version of blood offered on GOG had a problem where the difficulty would change after you loaded a saved game:

I was wondering if someone can tell me whether this bug has been fixed in Blood: Fresh Supply(the remaster) which recently became available on GOG? If not, this is a big issue for me and may affect my decision to buy (or not).

Yes, it appears to be fixed. I started a new game on one of the easier difficulty settings and saved the game. Then I took some damage from a zombie and noted how much I'd taken (7 points). I then reloaded and took the damage from the zombie again. It still did the same amount of damage rather than it flipping the damage amount to one of the harder difficulty settings. So yes, it seems to be fixed. :)
