Hi all. I just bought Blood 2 but I'm having a strange problem. I'm not sure if the game is meant to be that way or there is some sort of bug but basically whenever I die, I click fire (as you would in other FPS games) to come back to life but nothing happens, the camera just keeps rotating around caleb's body so is this the way the game is meant to be? You have 1 life and thats it? Or is there something wrong? I thought that I should mention that I'm running it on Win7 x64 so if that makes any difference. Thank you.

Uhm... yes. Just like in most FPS of that era - Quake, Duke Nukem 3d etc. - If your health goes down to zero, you die. No checkpoints, either.

You can save anytime you want, however.

When you die, there is no respawn key that I know of. You have to hit "Esc" and load a save or restart the level.

Pressing "fire" or "jump" to respawn is probably something Monolith would have programmed in had they finished the game properly.

It has this nifty quick save key: F6, and this nifty quick load key: F9, at least that's what they are when I remap the bastards.

^ Its F5 to quicksave, F6 to quickload in Blood 2. Or that's how it is in my game anyway :P
