I'm running blood at fullscreen resolution (1680x1050) through the blood launcher found here: http://blood.nanoaugur.net/

Anyone know what's the best renderer setting to use? I don't mind the pixelation that I see from the expanded screen real estate I'm using, but I'd like a tiny bit of smoothing/filtering in the game as well. I've been using opengl, but haven't noticed much difference in quality switching between overlay, surface, directdraw, or direct 3d. Anyone know the pros and cons of each? Which one would give me only a small amount of smoothing without making the game a blurry mess?

opengl and directdraw should already add bilinear filtering, if you didn't notice that .
