But this is saem as Cheat trainer available long ago with function speed up Kain. This is cheating. Speed up whole game or nothing.

Increasing the frame rate is the same as using my old trainer with the option Speed Up.
Now - since Verok's mod desactivated this option of my trainer - I created more correct code for this option.

The first part of the video - how to obtain (absolutely legally) 99x Implode and Font of Putresce (exactly, 99x of any artefacts excepting Flay and Pentalich of Tarot - in the first case it is possible only once or with using the spell Spirit Wrack, in the second case there are no secret passages to the needed cave) using Control Mind at any moment of the game.

Then - using the feature Walk through wall to access the Full Moon Caves at any moment of time.

And at the last - demonstration of the mode New Game+ with showing the visit to the secret Developers Room, the meaning of the existence of the spell Control Mind at the start of the game (if you do not know, the barmen who was sacrificed for 99x Flay is the same one who sent Kain to his death at the start of the game, so - from my point of view - it is the the best gift for him), and, of course, the visiting of another secret area with the ship which was discovered by Blood Omnicide team.

About using cheats:
a) in BO1 there are already 2 official cheats (refill HP and MP) - from my side they are too stupid;
b) in official re-release of Final Fantasy VIII official developer added big amount of additional cheats (including Speed Up);
c) Steam (and gog) allow to use cheats without any problems; moreover, some of them were developed for PS version.

Hm. Exactly, you have now the possibility to speed up whole game in about 6+ times.

For that purpose you need my old trainer in the working state (i.e. you need old bink patch for BO1 which was used during about 10 years before release of Verok's mod + this old trainer + dgVoodoo in the game folder; the first two you can take from the copy of my site - nosgothica.org - using Wayback Machine - web.archive.org).

But I have big doubts that you or any other usual player can play in BO1 on such speeds (like you suggested above).
I could, but I played in this game so many times, so I know all its secrets and tricks.

Especially due to additional side effect of such speed up - I forgot that with increasing of the movement speed (by speeding up whole game), the speed of swat movement will be also increased. So Kain will be thrown on the half of the screen (or full screen - this depends on the value of speed up) by each strike of enemy. It was funny for me (+ trainer allowed to enable / disable speed up - i.e. it provided temporary feature just for fast move without enemies near), but I do not think that it will be funny for usual player (to fly by the screen between enemies and spikes). Moreover, this side effect can be removed by the correct coding of the speed up feature.

So - when you suggest to do something - at first try by yourself the things you suggested.
