I tried it and games like Blitzkrieg 2 which, unlike the original and its -windowed command in the shortcut, couldn't be run in windowed mode even using excellent programs like Dxwnd.. But it works with 3D Anallyze.
You just have to tick on the Force Windowed Mode option and that is that. Games like Faces of War for instance don't work so well with this, but work perfectly fine with the latest version of DXWnd, and it's the other way around for Blitzkrieg 2. So a combination of Borderless Gaming, DXWnd, and 3D Analyze does wonders.
