I keep on getting a Windows error message coming up about halfway through missions on Mission Kursk simply saying 'The game has stopped working' which then closes the game. It's really frustrating as it makes it almost impossible to complete any missions. It's happened in the past before but it was a very rare occurance, now it's happening every game.
Try right clicking the .exe and go to properties. Now, go to compatibility, and choose one of the following:
Windows 98/ME
Windows 2000
Windows XP.

If that doesn't work, turn compatibility off, then tick 'Run as Administrator'. Try again. If that doesn't work, attempt to run with both compatibility as well as administrator at the same time.

Thanks, I hope it helps, and good luck with the problem.
This can also be the graphics (e.g. a different game with that engine required here that I assign the dedicated graphics card to the game, the intel graphics belonging to the processor would always crash it throughout the missions).

Thanks for your reply. How exactly do I try that?

In case of my computer (Windows 8.1, Nvidia Graphics card):
1. Open Windows system control
2. Open Nvidia system control
3. Open the 3D settings
4. Click on the tab for the application/program settings.
5. Configure the .exe which runs the game.
