1) Saved games constantly corrupt! You can save a game, but run the risk of about a 1:4 chance that it WONT reload when you come back to it. The game will just crash to desktop with no error messages when you try!
2) And you don't even get THAT far sometimes! The game will crash to desktop, again with no error messages, even when making the very attempt to save a game! This only seems to apply to saves attempted when in the middle of a scenario. This of course looses you ALL your progress in a scenario - like it has just to me before writing this - loosing me over a hour's worth of hard slog!
3) If you do manage to at least get a working mid-scenario game save you'll get the "Constant Chatter" bug when re-downloading it. For example I when I reloaded a US scenario I was treated to the phrases "Can't do that sir!", "Yes Sir Right Away Sir" and "Smoke 'em if you got 'em" repeated over and over and over and over and over and over and at high volume, and it never ever ends - it will EVEN CONTINUE INTO THE MENU SCREENS WHEN YOU TRY TO QUIT THE GAME - the colossal distraction value of this renders the game impossible to play unless you turn off all SFX entirely!
4) German and Russian voice SFXs. I'm afraid if you don't speak German and Russian you are going to be at a disadvantage - as you will HAVE NO IDEA what is was that unit just reported to you - and will HAVE NO IDEA whether or not the phrase "Flobbalobbalobbaloblob" is your unit confirming it can do an order, or telling you it can't do!
5) Horrendously poor English text - the game is STUFFED with some of the most EMBARRASSINGLY POOR English translations I've ever seen. WW2 is constantly referred to as "THE WW2"..... in fact the word the "the" is the constantly used in the wrong the fashion which is the something you the always see in the urine the poor the shoddy bad translations of the English language the (see what the I the mean?). "Marder III" is spelt "Murder III". "Evacuation" was spelt "Evaqation" in one scenario. "Three villages" was spelt "Tree villages" in another. IT TOTALLY DOES YOUR NUT AND ALMOST RUINS THE ENTIRE GAME! Even Google translate would have done a better job that the utterly USELESS team Nival hired to do the job - talk about going for the UTTERMOST cheap client..... and it's obvious Nival couldn't afford (or couldn't care less about) any kind of QA systems.
6) The final mission of the basic BK2 US campaign failed to finish - the trigger for success, the destruction of ALL enemies on the map, NEVER triggered. Thus the scenario never finished. Thus the campaign was NOT completable! And you only find this out at 99.99999% of the way into it. BRILLIANT! And before you say it - YES I HAD achieved 100% destruction of ALL enemy units. The maps are NOT THAT BIG and after spending nearly 2 hours constantly searching with dozens of light tanks AND aircraft, finding NOTHING, I think you can safely assume that, yes, you have got them all - but the scenario objective still would not trigger.
7) You HAVE to cheat. Apart from "bugger Nival's own campaigns and just design and play your own or stick to online multiplayer", there is NO other option. The standard campaigns ARE I-M-P-O-S-S-I-B-L-E. And there ARE NO "NORMAL" CHEATS available! All cheat codes quoted on the internet ARE BOGUS! I had to use "Cheat Engine" which directly alters ingame values to give myself infinate reinforcement points.

Such as shame, as without all these glaring game destroying problems, bad designs, bugs and total "we just don't give a fart if it's faulty" attitude of Nival's have ruined what could have been a classic of great game design!

PS/ Is there any way to can rewrite a review for a game after you have already submitted one on GOG.com? I've already done one for this utterly disappointing game but not really stressed how poor it is anywhere near enough! And now I'm finding I can't even re-write by own review or add a second one!

Addenda:-

In "Liberation" the German Pak40 75mm AT has it's name totally missing from the game!
I've seen "General" spelt "Feneral"
I've seen "82nd Airborne Division" spelt "82th Airborn Division". 82th? WTF! Airborn? WTF!
Just what idiots coded this game? Just what idiots actually double checked anything?

In "Fall of the Reich / Kurland Pocket" one of the missions has objectives stating you must "keep at least one installation under friendly control - and also at the same time has another objective text stating it's THREE installations. When you start the mission it at least becomes fully clear it is indeed just one - but the objective comes up as "maintain control of one fortifications (in plural)!". FGS!

At least the campaigns in "Fall of the Reich" go back to the same style as seen in the first of the three BK2's - and the missions are at least playable - you still have to use a cheat engine program to allow for as many reinforcement points as you wish, but you can PLAY. Unlike "Liberation" where the "password Barbarossa / @Win(0) to just skip the mission instantly cheat" is the ONLY way of completing it's moronic missions!

The no.
And if you think the campaigns on the vanilla BK2 are bad - JUST WAIT TILL YOU TRY THE BK2:LIBERATION ONES! BEYOND ALL REALMS OF BELIEF. Surely this game was designed from the very top as some kind of warped joke?
Even with Cheat Engine's help these campaigns are totally and utterly impossible.
EVEN YOUR HARDWARE WILL NOT COPE WITH THE SHEER NUMBER OF UNITS THE ENEMY HAS ON THE SCREEN AT ONE TIME. AND YES - THAT'S TODAYS MODERN PCs AS WELL - CHRIST KNOWS HOW BAD IT WAS BACK WHEN THIS JOKE OF A GAME WAS RELEASED!

Beyond ridiculous!
ANOTHER ONE!

BK2 : Liberation's US Campaign just "ends prematurely" without any results, no end vid clips, no nothing after the Falaise Pocket scenario. You're just dumped back to the main menu screen! And the "career progress" bar shows that there must be at least one or two more scenarios left to go after FP. And even one of the unit names (seems to be the German 75mm AT gun) is missing! Just look in the "encyclopedia" and see what I mean! WHO THE HELL PROGRAMMED THIS ABSOLUTE TRASH?

ANOTHER example of what A TOTAL AND UTTER PILE OF JUNK BK:2 ACTUALLY IS.

If you've not bought this pile of clart yet - DON'T, JUST DON'T!

PS/ I've no idea if BK1 is as bad. TBQH I'm NOT going to risk it after my experiences with this BK:2 dross!

Nival Software must have NO quality assurance / play testing teams whatsoever - either that or they couldn't give a crap!
