This also works fine with Wolf3D and SoD.
Made it easier for everyone. I debugged the original novert.com and uploaded it for you to download,
so that you don't need to be doing all this crap.

Here you go, a late christmas gift.

Using a Hex editor is easier than learning the old DOS debug and can also be done in 64-bit Windows. I use HxD myself as it is portable. Just search for the relevant part and overwrite the hex values then save.

Nice one for uploading the edited NOVERT, though. Makes it even easier for anyone new coming to this. :)

I myself find it easier to do just about anything if I have instructions written before me.
So when I know and can make it easier for other, I won't hesitate on doing so since I know myself how hard it is.

The "plan" was indeed to make it easier for the newcomers of this game. :)

THANK YOU!!! =D

I just picked up both Blake Stone games during GOG's Fall Sale this past week, and discovered this very problem using the mouse. So YOU, Sir, are indeed a lifesaver. ^.^ Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go show them thar aliens and security personnel the business end of my blaster pistol! ;-)

A Grateful Newcomer,
