I used to have a site bookmarked years ago that I cannot find anymore; it gave a list of the various topics covered by clicking on the 'TV' screen at the shooting range (Floor 2) and also the TV in McCoy's' apartment.

For the game I'm currently playing, the news anchor mentions that the entertainment models are being recalled due to 'not being funny' or something along those lines -- which if I recall correctly, tips off that Gordo is a replicant.

Cannot find anything else about what each different broadcast means.
If there's anyone who has a link to the list and what each news cast means, I'd be forever grateful !
I've read all of the walkthroughs I can find and can't find a list for the TV tips.
Thanks in advance for any help.

My reply obviously contains spoilers for the game.

There is a maximum of five potential news items that you can listen to during the game. One of them can play out in two different ways.
- First news item is about the defective Nexus-5 Replicants and it is indeed a hint that Gordo is Replicant.
- Second news item is about rise in street crime and Governor Kolvig attributing it to the increased number of Specials. This does not hint to anything. It just serves as an introduction/mention of Kolvig and the so-called "Specials" (the specials are mentioned in the book; (Maurice) Kolvig is a character only in the game as far as I know).
- Third news item is about the Kipple surrounding the city and Kolvig's promise and plans to clean it up. Again this just introduces what the "Kipple" is, and Kolvig. (This is effectively available only in Acts 2 and 3)
- Fourth news item is about a Replicant retirement taking place in the Fourth Sector. This is effectively in Act 3 or Act 5. It most likely references Zhora's retirement by Deckard in the movie, but depending on when you listen to it and whether McCoy retired someone in Act 3, you could assume that it references McCoy's actions (it does not). This item is interesting because it has two variations depending on whether McCoy is a Replicant sympathizer or more leaning to proper Blade Runner. I can't really figure why each of the variations corresponds to its case, but in short the two cases are thus: If McCoy is a Rep sympathizer, the news anchor talks about a Blade Runner who "foiled" a Replicant's escape in the Fourth Sector. Then Guzza is interviewed asserting that the Blade Runner handled it by the book. (In our restored content version, he can also only respond with "no comment" here). If McCoy is more of a proper Blade Runner, then the news anchor talks about a Blade Runner that shot an alleged Replicant in the middle of a crowded street. In his interview Guzza is more angry, talking about how the public should thank the police for retiring the "skin-jobs". I can only speculate that this was an inner way for the developers/play-testers to "tell" if at that point the game considered McCoy a Rep sympathizer or a Blade Runner, without checking variable states through debugging.
- The fifth news item depends on McCoy's actions in the first Act wrt the homeless man in Chinatown. It is only available in the case that McCoy shot the man, and hid the body in the dumpster (and also affected by whether he later confessed this to Guzza). The news just mentions that the body has been found and that chief Bryant promised a full investigation.
I should also mention that there's some randomness involved in whether a news item will play or not, so if you don't get an item that does not necessarily mean something. Safe assumptions can only be made with items that you do get. Eg. if you don't get the "defective Nexus-5" news, this does not mean anything about Gordo's status.

Thanks so much !
I've 'screen-grabbed' your reply, as I wanted to be able to reference it later on.

This is helping me navigate the game; and to be honest I've played it through several times and am going to play it again.
I haven't been able to access the ending with Dektora yet.

Also noticed (& I found this amusing) that after completing a more successful run in the shooting range, that the score of Crystal Steele was raised to a higher level than mine !
Sneaky woman. ;)
