Had to post this I just wish I got a video of it. Basically I am playing as all characters with 1 to 2 saves on each.

Anyway as the Amazon I managed to over write a save at the moment the Ice man appears. The only other save left me with only 200 health points and rubbish weapons.

I tried to beat him about 20 times over knowing I would up level giving me full health back. Each time he got a slight hit killing me. Very frustrating until I changed my approach. When he came out of the ground I kept my distance, moving a couple of steps towards him to try and get him in a charge. Every time I did it he moved back 2 paces, this stand off lasted a few times till I realized he was on the edge of the cliff. I tried my move once more and he did the surprising off falling off, lol. Missing the kill points an archer decided to jump down to have ago at me leaving himself with one health point from the fall. A simple slice leveled me up and back in the game lol.

I must admit it looked so funny the ice guy flying off the edge with his arms and legs waving.

Near the end of the Mines of Kilbeggan there is a bridge with a thumping great ogre/troll on it swinging a hugemungous club. I found him a most imposing figure, and took three attempts to best him in melee combat.
However, my first encounter with him was both amusing & instructive; I discovered an arrow can knock an enemy backwards. I was quite ecstatic when my three panic-stricken arrows pushed him off his bridge :)

I took the ice golem out that way once too. I laughed and laughed and then, inadvertently, ran off a cliff edge right at the end of the level when fighting one of the minotaurs. Oops.

The game has so many amusing quirks where the enemies are just as prone to misfortune as you are. I love it.
