Hi all,

We have put up new installers that will update yor version of the Blackwell Epiphany to version 1.1. Please download either the PC or Mac installer to get the latest and greatest version of the game :)

Changes for version 1.1:


"Softly, softly" achievement can now be properly activated.
Fixed bug in conversation with Jim Peebles where you could be stuck
talking to him with no way to progress or exit the conversation.
Fixed bug where you could download the Trollgate app before you knew
about it, breaking the sequence of events in Emil's office.
Removed duplicate Joey when he reports back to Rosa after finding the
ghost in the gym.
Removed duplicate images of Kendra and Mary when certain animations are
played.
Fixed bug where Rosa could end up in the wrong outfit, which caused a
crash.
Fixed crash when Rosa left the snowy balcony on her own while Tanya is
following Joey.
Improved response for asking Heather about Tanya.
Solved tweening glitch which caused "Call" button to occasionally be
added invisibly in the bottom right of the screen in the first
flashback, causing a crash.
Maggie's parole number is now only added once.
Maggie can no longer be identified before meeting her.

Too late, I finished the game last week :)

It seems I didn't encounter any of these bugs except for Maggie, which were not very annoying (just breaking the logic/sequence of events).

The Jim Peebles one was annoying and Maggies bug were just confusing so this game got even better

Hi Everyone,

Not sure if you've had the same problem as me!!!
Just tried to finish Blackwell Deception, but couldn't!!!!

It seems that the save files got corrupted somehow!!!

I installed it on Xubuntu 14:04 64bit, using the .deb file.
The issue started occuring after I did the this part of this walkthrough:

Where it says:

Under “ask about Jamie” select her studies, then history, then Middle Eastern. Under “home town” select out West, then Illinois, then Mattoon. Finally, talk to her about her spare time, select books, Ashbless and Anubis at the Gate. Whaddaya know – spooks can make out.

Follow her out. Rosa ain’t looking too happy. Then go back to Jamie’s dorm and have Joey go in and talk to her. Rosa will come in and send her off into the light."

The game was saved after the VIP Louge part was completed and Jamie gets back to her dorm.
At this point everytime I start the game and load the save, if I just right-click, or do anything else for that matter, after the game/load starts...it crashes, everytime!!!

I downloaded the .tar.gz file uncompressed it, same issue loading the save files!!!!

Has anyone experienced the same thing??
Any ideas on how to sort it, except starting the game from the beginning??
