I've played previous 4 games in Steam and Android (first 3).

Now I have GOG's Epiphany.

It gives me this error message (see attachment).

I've tried all settings on winsetup.exe - unsuccessfully...

Tried to install Direct X 9 from official microsoft site and change graphic filter - the same. Nothing.

I have Windows 7x64 Sp1 Maximum

Please someone help, i want to play this game.

(Also: Every time as you can see on screenshot it says my graphic mode is not supported. I've tried change resolutions as well - it didn't help.)

May be I can change something in .cfg file (see 2nd attachment)? But I don't know how and what (it has 'screenres=0' and 'defaulres=1' lines in .cfg file. I do not know what value to change this parameter).

Are you sure you tried all the combination of settings?

Have you tried to run it in a window?

In fullscreen mode, have you tried setting the graphics driver as DirectDraw 5 and the graphics filter as Hq2x?

I'm I afraid I can't help you further, hence I suggest you to contact support.
You try to run the game in 1280x800 resolution.
Maybe your monitor doesn't support this resolution?
Does the game run with graphics filter set to "none"?

The resolutions shown in the setup menu (when changing the graphics filter) are wrong by the factor 2.
With a 2x-graphics-filter the setup shows 640x400 but tries to run the program in 1280x800 which will lead to the exact error message you got when trying to run the game on a monitor with a smaller resolution.

You are right, but the OP said the game won't even run in windowed mode (at least, I suggested it to try) and it said that the previous games used to run (I suppose with the same settings).
I've played the first 3 games on 4x Windowed (1280x800).
(My monitor is native 2560x1440)
Now Blackwell Deception gives me this same error.
This is why:
First 3 games are 320x200 -> x4 gives 1280x800

Blackwell Deception is actually 640x480, even though the setup program says 320x200. (they should fix this!)
So 4x would give 2560x1920, which is bigger than my native resolution.
So I've decided to play it at 2x -> 1280x960

Another option: set a custom resolution of 2560x1920 in the Nvidia control panel and then 4x actually works! (but only in fullscreen) I guess this is DSR (for 2D)...

Ok I'm a year late but the solution would be to not use any filter at all, it should run then.
