I'm on Linux Mint 17 and have downloaded the tar.gz file rather than the .deb file.
I was wondering where I can find the save file location, it's not in the game directory itself.

Saves for this game on Linux are in:

~/.local/share/Blackwell Legacy v1.7/

~ is your home folder (/home/user), keep in mind that .local is a hidden folder.
