Hello! I bought both Black Mirror games during Insomnia sale, and now i tried to run BM2. I had suspicions, that my computer is too old to run this game (Pentium 4 2.0 GHz, 512 MB RAM, NVidia GeForce FX 5500, WinXP), but minimum requirements on game's page were surprisingly low and suggested, that BM2 should work on my computer. Usually only games that were released before 2006 (in 2005 and earlier) work on my computer, but Torchlight and Driftmoon work too, so i decided to give BM2 a chance.

After i start the game, loading screen appears, but when loading is over, BM2 exits back to Windows. I don't know, maybe i don't have enough RAM? (1 GB would be better, of course, but i can't make more RAM without buying new motherboard as well, which is not an option right now.)

I didn't find any configuration utility in game's installation folder, i found only config.xml file, which can be edited in wordpad, but i don't really know what to change there, to make this game work on my computer.

Anyone has any ideas what to do?

Raneenjah: 512 MB RAM
512 MB is indeed very few and could be the cause of this. Can't you just get an old used RAM module to upgrade to 1GB as that's GOG's minimum requirement for the game?

Regretably, no. My motherboard supports SDRAM only, and i have already upgraded it from 256 MB (1 module) to 512 MB (2 modules). =) Like i said, i'd have to buy another motherboard first, because computer dealers in my town are unable to find 512 MB SDRAM modules anymore.

I will contact GOG support, if they can't provide any solution, i'll just keep this game for the future, when i will buy modern computer, because i intend to buy it eventually.
