Don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but I'm getting this issue where textures take a long time to pop in, and unload as soon as I look away. The game's working fine in every other aspect, highest video settings, smooth 60fps and everything, but the textures are freaking out on me and it's really distracting. Is there a fix for this? Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Just noticed this forum is for the Bioshock series as a whole, so I'll specify that this is on Bioshock 1, remastered.

Also, while I'm here, I'm using Windows 10 on a regular, run-of-the-mill laptop. Nothing amazingly powerful, just your average machine.

Yeah same here. Doesn't seem to happen on the regular version. Only the remastered, and it's pretty game breaking for me.
Some people mentioned that turning Vsync off in the game and setting it to "Fast" in the Nvidia Control panel helped fixing this. I can't confirm this as I have never used the Remastered versions so it's up to you to confirm if it works or not.
