Is there anybody out there who has tried this GOG version of Bioshock 1 and Bioshock 2 on a WIndows 7 x64 PC? Did it work successfully? Please indicate which game (BS1 or BS2), what problems you encountered, and any fixes that resolved it if any.

I have Windows 7 64 bits, and both Bioshock GOG versions work well. I have a nVidia GTX 1070 (driver version 388.71) and a Creative Sound Blaster Z sound card. In addition, I have all versions of Microsoft Visual C++ libraries updated (2005, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, and 2017).

Some people are reporting issues, but I think they are related to specific combination of hardware and software. For example, since the first version of the original Bioshock, the game doesn't work very well with Realtek sound cards, and some graphic drivers have known issues, mainly with nVidia. Although many of these problems have been resolved, some people still report to have the same issues as before.
