Is there any chance of getting these classic titles in the preservation program? They're currently broken in every other platform (gog included) both the classics and the remasters. So it'd be really great to have these gems in Gog's vault!

Broken seems prety exaggerated. I have heard the remastered versions are re ally buggy, but have not heard a lot of serious problems with the originalos.

Se HavokNumThreads=4 and CacheSizeMegs=128 and had only occasional crashes, except for Minerva's Den. That never worked past the opening room.

Been playing bioshock enhanced, without any problems.
ANyway, I think there are games out there that need to be in the preservation program a lot more then the Bioshocks games.

I Agree, 100%. These games are now ready for modern systems. The remaster is a joke. What's funny is the people that are deny the fact that the game is broken. Because it's working for them that means it's not broken. Some logic that is.

Question is how frequent and how widespread are the problems.
And just because you are having problems does not mean the game is broken either if you want to play that game.

Dude, don't be that guy man. You can go on any steam forum or anywhere else and see tons of people that have the same issue. I can't leave from the save position or save anything. without the game crashing. This has something to do with modern systems and the number of cores. But even when you limit cores it still doesn't help much. because the game has tons of other issues. Please stop being that guy. If the game works for you, great but it doesn't make up for the fact that it doesn't work for tons of people. PLEASE GO AND READ! What you're doing is very frustrating and the fact that you take your time to downplay other peoples problems is 10x more infuriating,. The game works for you? Why are you here. What does that benefit any of us. Everyone in the room has cancer and you don't , that's wonderful for you, but why are you even in a room with 100 cancer patients anyways. c'mon man, go play the game if it works for you and leave us alone, please.

I have repeatedly posted links for crashing issues from pcgamingwiki. Everyone ignores them and whines instead of doing some minor tweaks. For reference, I got lots of crashes too until I modified the number of cores and cache size, then they dropped to basically 0.

I've tried many tweaks and they just don't work. What works for some won't always work for others. We are PC gamers we understand the name of the game.
