RetroGamesLover: Hi all! I'm having a problem with achievements in Bioshock Remastered. They just don't unlock at all in GOG Galaxy. I had a problem like this in some other games, notably Fallout New Vegas, but it was resolved after a simple restart of Galaxy - the achievements worked fine after that. But here, nothing works.

I tried restarting the game, restarting Galaxy... After snooping around the internet, I found some posts about achievements not triggering because of the Windows Firewall preventing the game from sending achievements data to Galaxy (or something like that). So I made inbound and outbound rules exceptions in the Firewall for all Galaxy applications and the game's executable... but still no luck.

The in-game overlay works just fine, which just adds to the mystery. I use the first security bot early in the game to test if the achievements started working properly. I should get two achievements related to hacking it, but after every possible solution it just doesn't trigger.

I'm out of options here. Like I said, this kind of problem in some other games was resolved just by restarting. But it would be strange that Galaxy refuses to acknowledge achievements in Bioshock in particular. Any help would be appreciated.

w198x: If you used the command console, achievement acquisition is disabled until the end of the game session. This is certainly the case with Fallout New Vegas.
