Won't install. I would love to just get my money back or just store credit, but I won't even ask. I had the same problem with another game I bought, and I asked for my money back right away, but I was refused. The money back guarantee is a lie. They only give you your money back when they are satisfied you have tried everything to get the game to work. Um. No. I want to play a game. If this does not work, give me credit to find a game I can play. What does the guarantee in Money Back guarantee even mean? What is guaranteed? Lol. what a joke.

It sounds like an issue with your download or computer setup. You need to give more information than this - such as version of windows, any error message encountered etc. However, in the absence of this, I'd suggest re-downloading, making sure you're installing as an administrator and ensuring you're not installing to the games folder (plus doing whatever GoG support have told you to do).

I can quite understand Gog's view on this - as it's not a physical product, you can't return it - so they need to be sure that you have tried everything before giving you money back to stop people scamming them.
