Guide is for AMD Users who are using Windows 10
This guide is intended to setup V-sync for the game. You do not need to frame cap the game with these settings.
This guide works best when used with my 2020 Audio cutscene de-sync guide as it will make for a smooth game play experience
Screen Shots have been added to the post to help you through the process
Follow the guide below
- Open your AMD Radeon Software
- Click on the Gaming tab at the top
- Click on the 3 dots on the right hand side to open up the more options drop down menu and select "Add A Game"
- Navigate to the folder where you installed Beyond Good and Evil and select the BGE application
For those that installed in the default GOG Galaxy folder follow the directions below:
Go to your local disk
Program Files (x86)
GOG Galaxy folder
Games
Beyond Good and Evil Folder
Select BGE application
- Once installed in your AMD Radeon Software games directory select BGE
- Finally follow these settings exactly
Radeon Anti - lag : Disabled
Radeon Chill : Disabled
Radeon Image sharpening: Disabled
Radeon Enhanced Sync : Disabled
Wait for Vertical Refresh : Always On
Anti-Aliasing: Use application settings
Morphological Anti-Aliasing: Disabled
Anisotropic Filtering: Disabled
Texture Filtering Quality: High
Surface Format Optimization: Disabled
Tessellation Mode: Use application settings
OpenGL Triple Buggering: Disabled
Radeon Freesync: OFF
Scaling Mode: Center
Integer Scaling: Disabled
Custom Color: Disabled
- Hit Launch game and you are all set.
