Hello,
Like many of you I have a problem with BG&E. Like in the title - the game runs normaly except that letters <usually first or last in sentence or word> and icons (for example - icons from in-game menu when you are playing) flickers. I did find the cause - HW Vertex Processing. Turning it off fix flickering, but... the game take a blow to frame rate. Big enough to frustrate. But with HW enabled it's runs perfectly normal... with metioned flickering.
So... anyone had same problem and find a solution? Turning of AA, HW Vertex Processing, Multi vertex steam and W buffer seems to help a little, but it's still not perfect <as far as I can tell by naked eye>.

My PC <althought I doub you will really need it, it's optimization problem>:
Dual core 2,6GHz
2 GB RAM
GeForce GTX 650

Try to set both "Water detail" and "Shadows quality" settings to "Low". It's a common issue with nVidia cards. BGE works better with ATI cards... You could also try to set the CPU affinity to a single core.

I know it's common, but still a little different from what people are getting here. And that's the reason why I asked - I found partial solution and wanted to fix it properly. :)
Still - your links helped me. Mostly turning everything off except SSE and Mipmapping in Compatiblity helped with slow mo without triggering the flickering... and Water, AA, Shadows and Flare were all on max when I check if Main Canal caused problems with performence... and just maybe there was a small drop. But not so much, so I think it shouldn't be any problems now with playing. Thank you. :)
